I am a local actor and it is my pleasure to be playing the white abolitionist, Jeremiah Henry, who leads four of the slaves to freedom in the performance this friday. I have been involved with members of this large troupe of fine actors in the past and I believe the performance this friday will be both moving and powerful in the telling. The narrative is not only well written, sad and moving, but quite complex as it carefully recounts each character's inner beliefs and interactions which each other.
With admission being free I encourage all who can make it to attend.
